What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients into the practice and managing appointments
- Dispensing spectacles and guiding customers through frame and lens options
- Undertaking pre-screening duties, including autorefraction and optical coherence tomography where required
- Adjusting, repairing and fitting frames to ensure a comfortable fit
- Traveling to support different stores across the local geographical area when needed
- Working a variety of shift patterns throughout the week, including mandatory weekend shifts
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or retail environment, ideally within optics
- A friendly, approachable manner and strong communication skills
- The ability to learn product specifications and explain them clearly to customers
- Flexibility to travel across a local geographical area and commit to varied shift patterns on a permanent basis
