We are looking for a permanent flexible hours Optical Assistant job in Kensington, offering a great opportunity to join a busy practice right on the High Street.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service to every patient visiting the practice
- Dispensing frames and lenses to suit individual customer needs and prescriptions
- Undertaking pre-screening duties, contact lens teaches, and frame styling
- Managing appointment bookings, answering telephone enquiries, and handling general administration tasks
- Working a variety of shift patterns throughout the week, including mandatory evening and weekend shifts
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 6 months of optical experience gained in a similar customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, approachable manner
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the scheduling needs of the business, including evenings and weekends
- A commitment to fulfilling the advertised hours on a permanent basis
