What you'll be doing
- Delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every patient who walks through the doors
- Dispensing spectacles and guiding patients through frame and lens options to suit their lifestyle
- Pre-screening patients using automated diagnostic equipment prior to their sight tests
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting eyewear to ensure a comfortable, accurate fit
- Booking appointments and handling general enquiries over the phone and in person
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 6 months of optical experience gained within a practice setting
- Strong communication skills and a natural flair for helping people
- Attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and technology
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently during busy periods
