What you'll be doing
- Delivering a warm, professional welcome to every customer visiting the practice
- Helping patients choose frames and lenses that suit their style, prescription, and budget
- Dispensing and adjusting spectacles to ensure a comfortable, accurate fit
- Carrying out pre-screening tests including OCT scans and visual fields
- Booking appointments, managing enquiries over the phone, and handling general reception duties
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in optics, customer service, or retail is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for helping people
- Attention to detail and confidence working with technology
- A flexible approach to working hours, as the role includes weekend shifts
