What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach and develop a large team of optical professionals and support staff to achieve clinical and commercial targets
- Drive daily practice operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, high standards of customer service and adherence to compliance guidelines
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment, performance reviews and ongoing training programmes within the branch
- Oversee the dispensing floor, triage, and administrative processes to maintain an efficient working environment
- Collaborate with clinical leads and optometrists to deliver seamless patient journeys from eye examination to dispensing
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing a retail store, healthcare practice or similar customer-facing commercial environment
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and improving operational performance
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities
- A passion for customer service and commercial awareness within the optical or healthcare sector
- Ability to commit to a permanent schedule and work flexible shift patterns throughout the week
