What you'll be doing
- Delivering a warm and professional welcome to every customer visiting the practice
- Dispensing spectacles to a high standard, taking accurate measurements, and adjusting frames for a comfortable fit
- Guiding patients through lens options, coatings, and prescription details clearly and helpfully
- Booking appointments, managing enquiries over the phone, and handling reception duties
- Working closely with optometrists and dispensing opticians to ensure a smooth, efficient customer journey
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or healthcare environment is an advantage, though full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for helping people
- High attention to detail and good basic numeracy for handling transactions and measurements
- A reliable and adaptable approach to teamwork, with the ability to manage weekend shifts on a permanent basis
