We are currently recruiting a permanent Dispensing Optician jobs vacancy covering four diverse practices across Carmarthen, Swansea, Port Talbot and Neath, featuring 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Sunday. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to busy, community-focused environments while supporting patient care across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing spectacles and optical appliances to patients of all ages with varying visual needs
- Tailoring expert advice on frame selection, lens types, coatings and styling options
- Managing patient queries and troubleshooting any dispensing issues with care and professionalism
- Traveling flexibly between practices in Carmarthen, Swansea, Port Talbot and Neath to support local teams
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring high standards of patient service are delivered consistently
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Dispensing Optician with a current, valid license to practice
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- The ability to adapt quickly to different practice environments and work effectively within varied teams
- A flexible approach to travel across the local region as required by the role
