We are currently recruiting for Dispensing Optician jobs in Chippenham, offering a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Sunday. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy high street practice in a vibrant location, working with a wide range of designer frames including Nuance and Meta Ray Bans.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing spectacles and optical appliances to patients of all ages
- Providing expert advice on lenses, frames, and finishing options to suit individual visual and lifestyle needs
- Fitting, adjusting, and repairing frames to ensure comfort and accurate prescription alignment
- Working collaboratively with optometrists and practice colleagues to deliver a seamless patient journey
- Maintaining high standards of professional practice and customer care on the shop floor
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Dispensing Optician with a current, unrestricted license to practice
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Confident recommending a variety of frame and lens options to suit different requirements
- Ability to work flexibly across the practice opening days, including weekends as part of the rota
