What you'll be doing
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to patients arriving at the practice
- Dispensing spectacles and helping patients choose frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle and prescription
- Conducting pre-screening tests, including visual fields and OCT scans, before patient eye examinations
- Booking appointments and managing customer queries in person and over the phone
- Adjusting, repairing and fitting eyewear to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness across the practice floor
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 6 months optical experience gained within a similar practice environment
- Excellent communication skills and a natural passion for customer service
- Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns throughout the week, including evening and weekend shifts
- A reliable and committed approach to working as part of a close-knit team
