We are recruiting a permanent Optical Assistant for our practice in Worksop, with full-time hours across flexible shift patterns including weekends. What you'll be doing
- Providing customer service and supporting patients on the shop floor
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers select frames and lenses
- Undertaking pre-screening duties and visual field testing
- Travelling to different stores across the designated geographical area as required
- Working a variety of shift patterns throughout the week, including weekend shifts
What we're looking for
- NVQ level 2 or UK equivalent qualifications
- Flexibility to cover various shifts throughout the week, including weekends
- Ability to travel to different stores within the region
- Commitment to the advertised hours on a permanent basis
