We are currently looking for a talented professional to fill permanent Dispensing Optician jobs based on River Street, offering a secure 37.5 hours per week on a rostered schedule. What you'll be doing
- Dispensing spectacles and optical appliances to patients of all ages and prescription complexities
- Providing expert advice on frames, lenses and optical products to suit individual lifestyle needs
- Supervising and mentoring colleagues within the practice to ensure high standards of patient care
- Managing day-to-day dispensary operations and maintaining accurate patient records
- Working a flexible rota across both weekdays and weekends
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Dispensing Optician in good standing
- Previous experience in a retail optical environment
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Confidence in taking on supervisory duties and supporting team development
- Ability to work collaboratively on a roster basis that includes weekend shifts
