We are looking for a dedicated professional to take on a permanent 37.5 hours per week Optometrist job based primarily in Broadstairs, offering the chance to build a varied career across the Kent coast. This mobile position covers practices in Broadstairs, Ashford, Folkestone, and Deal, combining clinical variety with the lifestyle benefits of working by the seaside.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough sight tests and providing expert clinical advice to a diverse patient demographic
- Delivering weekend cover across Ashford alongside weekday clinics in Broadstairs and Deal
- Managing clinical workflow supported by protected admin and catch-up time built into the diary before lunch and at the end of the day
- Working comfortably with advanced equipment, including Optomap technology
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist qualified to practice in the UK
- Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced applicants
- MECS training is desirable, with training provided for ZEST
- Flexibility to travel between locations with excellent transport links
