We are currently recruiting an Optometrist job in Lowestoft, available on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis with flexible working across Monday to Sunday. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding clinical career within a well-established practice situated right on London Road.
What you'll be doing
- Providing thorough, high-standard sight tests and comprehensive eye examinations for every patient
- Delivering expert contact lens fittings and aftercare consultations
- Recommending appropriate optical products and lens solutions tailored to individual patient lifestyles
- Collaborating closely with practice colleagues, dispensing opticians, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records and clinical notes using electronic systems
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist with a current, unrestricted license to practice in the UK
- A patient-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team
