What does this Mobile Optometrist role involve?

As a Mobile Optometrist, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding patient care. You'll lead clinics, assess eye health using advanced testing equipment, and offer expert advice to patients. This role involves supporting the community with clinical excellence and contributing to enhanced services.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading clinics and delivering exceptional patient care.
Utilising the latest testing technology for eye health assessments and expert advice.
Providing enhanced services, including triage support and advanced assessments.
Offering clinical support to colleagues within the practice.
Collaborating with external healthcare professionals.
Maintaining and sharing up-to-date clinical knowledge.
Playing a key role in the store's leadership team, contributing energy and insight.

Requirements for this Mobile Optometrist position

We are seeking confident, compassionate Optometrists who are dedicated to prioritising patient well-being. A strong interest in patient care and collaborative teamwork is essential for this role.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves):

GOC registered (or expecting registration within 6 months).
NHS performer number (or working towards obtaining one).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for patient care and team collaboration.

It would be beneficial if you also have:

A solid understanding of local clinical networks.
