What does this Dispensing Optician role involve?

As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will be dedicated to providing an exceptional level of customer care and expert advice. Your goal is to ensure customers have a positive experience, encouraging them to return. You will operate within one of our stores, working closely with the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical support in-store for regulated dispensing.
• Inspiring your optical team by sharing your knowledge to deliver the very best service.
• Actively listening to customer needs and offering expert advice.
• Assisting customers in selecting the most suitable eyewear and providing guidance to ensure they receive the best product for their needs.
• Supporting the team in maintaining efficient daily operations and legal compliance for the business.
• Offering specialist knowledge for patients with more complex requirements.

Requirements for this Dispensing Optician position

To be successful in this Dispensing Optician vacancy, you will need:

• Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• A genuine passion for continuous learning and development, including completing all required CPD training.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

• The ability to embrace new technologies within the optical field.
