What does this Dispensing Optician role involve?

As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will provide a high level of customer care and expert advice, ensuring customers return. You will work within the practice, reporting to the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.
• Inspiring your optical team by sharing knowledge to offer the very best service.
• Listening to customer needs and offering expertise and advice.
• Helping customers choose the correct eyewear, offering guidance to ensure they receive the best product suited to their needs.
• Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes, ensuring the business trades legally.
• Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.

Requirements for this Dispensing Optician position

To be considered for this Dispensing Optician vacancy, you will need:

• To be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• A passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of GOC requirements.

It would be beneficial if you also have:

• The ability to embrace new technologies.
