As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will utilise the latest technology and work alongside experienced colleagues to support your community with clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
- Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
- Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on practice needs
- Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
- Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
- Keeping clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with the team
- Playing a key role in the store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift
Requirements for this Optometrist position
We are looking for Optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients. This Optometrist vacancy requires:
- GOC registration (or expecting to be registered within 6 months)
- An NHS performer number (or working towards one)
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration
It would be beneficial if you also have:
- Experience supporting enhanced services
- A strong understanding of local clinical networks
