What does this Mobile Optometrist role involve?

As a Mobile Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within the community. You'll utilise the latest diagnostic technology and collaborate with experienced optical professionals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Leading clinics and providing outstanding patient care.
Employing advanced testing technology to assess eye health and offer expert advice.
Delivering enhanced optical services, including triage support and advanced assessments.
Providing clinical guidance and support to colleagues.
Liaising with external healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient journeys.
Maintaining and sharing up-to-date clinical knowledge with the team.

Requirements for this Mobile Optometrist position

We are seeking confident and compassionate Optometrists who are committed to prioritising patient well-being. This Mobile Optometrist vacancy requires a proactive approach to your work.

Essential qualifications and skills include:

GOC registration or eligibility to register within six months.
Possession of an NHS performer number or active pursuit of one.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A genuine passion for patient care and collaborative teamwork.

Desirable, but not essential, experience includes:

Proven experience in supporting enhanced optical services.
A solid understanding of local clinical networks.
