What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough, professional sight tests and contact lens assessments to the highest clinical standards
- Recommending bespoke optical solutions, frames, and lenses tailored to individual lifestyle and visual needs
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting the in-store team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service
- Building strong rapport with patients, offering expert aftercare advice and managing clinical referrals effectively
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering strictly to all current GOC guidelines and professional standards
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist with a current licence to practice in the UK
- Exceptional communication skills with a passion for delivering patient-centred care
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced retail team
- Proven experience in a customer-facing optical environment, with leadership or coordination skills being a distinct advantage
