This is a 38.75 hours per week permanent position based in Dumfries and Galloway, designed for someone who wants to drive commercial performance while delivering exceptional patient care.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a dedicated front-of-house and clinical team to reach their full potential
- Managing day-to-day practice operations, including rota planning, stock control and meeting key performance targets
- Delivering an outstanding customer journey from initial welcome through to dispensing and aftercare
- Resolving customer queries professionally and maintaining high standards of presentation across the practice
- Collaborating with optometrists and dispensing staff to ensure clinical workflows run smoothly

- Proven management or supervisory experience within optics, retail, or a customer-facing service environment
- A strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving sales and meeting targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team
