What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients to the practice and managing appointments in person and over the phone
- Pre-screening patients using automated equipment before their eye examination
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers select frames that suit their prescription, lifestyle and budget
- Adjusting, repairing and fitting frames to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Processing orders, handling payments and managing collections
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across the practice floor
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally within an optical environment
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and technology
- A collaborative team player who is happy to help wherever is needed to support the rest of the team
