This busy practice in Somerset is looking for a customer-focused team member to join them on a temporary basis. You will work closely with patients to deliver a warm, professional service from the moment they arrive.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients into the practice and delivering a warm, professional first impression
- Guiding customers through frame selection, offering expert styling advice based on face shape, prescription needs and personal preference
- Taking accurate facial measurements and dispensing spectacles to a high standard
- Booking appointments, handling enquiries over the phone and managing the reception desk
- Assisting with basic pre-screening, contact lens teaches and frame adjustments or minor repairs
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised sales floor and display areas
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in retail, customer service or a healthcare environment is helpful, though full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills and a natural flair for helping people
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions and measurements
- A reliable, collaborative approach to supporting your colleagues during busy periods
