What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients warmly and managing appointments in person and over the phone
- Dispensing a wide range of frames and lenses to suit individual customer needs and prescriptions
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting eyewear to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Pre-screening patients using automated diagnostic equipment prior to their eye examination
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and beautifully merchandised practice floor
- Working collaboratively with optometrists and colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a patient-facing healthcare environment is welcome, though full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for helping people
- Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and technology
- A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to work well as part of a busy team
