What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers to the practice and helping them navigate frame choices and lens options
- Undertaking pre-screening checks, including autorefraction and visual acuity measurements
- Dispensing spectacles and adjusting frames to ensure a comfortable, accurate fit for every patient
- Booking appointments, managing enquiries, and handling general reception duties
- Maintaining a tidy, well-presented practice floor and helping with merchandising displays
What we're looking for
- A friendly, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a busy team and build rapport with patients of all ages
- Previous optical experience is helpful, though full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Good attention to detail and confidence using computer systems
