What does this Optometrist role involve?

As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional eye care services to a diverse patient base. You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions, and provide expert advice on vision correction and eye health.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough sight tests and eye health checks
• Prescribing and fitting spectacles and contact lenses
• Identifying and managing ocular pathologies
• Providing pre- and post-operative care
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Collaborating with the wider optical team to ensure seamless patient journeys

Requirements for this Optometrist position

To be considered for this Optometrist role, you will need to be a GOC-registered Optometrist. A passion for delivering outstanding patient care and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential.
