We are recruiting an Optometrist for a modern surgery centre clinic in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh, offering 4 long days available with evenings and no weekend work. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering advanced clinical eye care and surgery support, with full and part-time opportunities available and relocation allowances considered.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
- Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists during refractive surgery procedures
- Participating in the multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service to deliver patient procedures
- Conducting Essential and Advanced Eye examinations and communicating with patients via telemedicine
- Supporting the hub administrative team and reviewing incoming referrals from primary care routes in the referral triage team
What we're looking for
- GOC registered for at least 2 years
- IP Qualified Preferred
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical team of eye care professionals and ophthalmologists
