We are currently advertising full and part-time Optometrist jobs in Darlington, offering a market-leading salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience alongside comprehensive clinical training. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary eye care team based in Darlington, with occasional travel to cover the Middlesbrough clinic.
What you'll be doing
You will play a crucial role in delivering a diverse range of clinical eye care services, working alongside experienced ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals. Because no two days are the same, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
- Providing clinical support to our team of ophthalmologists
- Delivering Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for patients
- Using state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies from market leaders such as Carl Zeiss and Johnson & Johnson Vision
What we're looking for
- A qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes
- Willingness to occasionally cover the Middlesbrough clinic
- An interest in developing your skills further through full refractive and cataract surgery training, which will be provided by experienced clinicians
