About this role
Specsavers Opticians in St Peter Port, Guernsey, is seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician (QDO) to join their established team.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating optical prescriptions into bespoke eyewear solutions. This involves expert patient consultation, guiding individuals through frame and lens choices to meet their visual and aesthetic needs. You will undertake precise measurements, fit and adjust spectacles to ensure optimal comfort and performance, and manage more complex dispensing challenges.
Working collaboratively with the optometrist and the wider practice staff, you will contribute to a seamless patient journey from initial eye examination to final spectacle collection. You will also provide contact lens aftercare where appropriate, ensuring ongoing patient satisfaction and visual health.
