About this role
At Louth Vision Centre, the Optical Assistant is the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your day-to-day duties will be central to the practice's smooth operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Assisting patients with frame selection, offering guidance and support.
- Performing basic frame adjustments and repairs to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Processing spectacle and contact lens orders accurately.
- Maintaining the presentation and tidiness of the practice floor.
This role is fundamental to delivering high standards of patient care and supporting the clinical team at our East Lindsey practice.
