London Eye Bespoke Eyewear, located at 9 Chain Lane, Newark and Sherwood, NG24 1AU, seeks a skilled Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their team. This role is central to delivering exceptional optical care and ensuring patients receive precise, comfortable, and aesthetically suitable eyewear.
Core responsibilities include:
- Interpreting optical prescriptions accurately.
- Advising patients on frame styles and lens technologies to meet their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Taking precise measurements for bespoke fitting.
- Performing expert spectacle fitting, adjustment, and dispensing.
- Managing complex dispensing challenges.
- Providing contact lens aftercare and wearer support where applicable.
You will work collaboratively with the optometrist and the wider practice team to offer a seamless patient journey, from initial consultation through to dispensed eyewear. Your expertise is crucial in translating the optometrist's findings into high-quality vision correction.
