Johnson Pointer Opticians in North Northamptonshire seeks a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their established practice. This role is central to delivering exceptional patient care, translating optometrist prescriptions into optimal vision solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting ophthalmic prescriptions with precision.
- Guiding patients through frame and lens choices, considering lifestyle and visual needs.
- Taking accurate measurements for a perfect fit.
- Fitting and adjusting spectacles to ensure comfort and efficacy.
- Managing complex dispensing challenges and providing expert advice.
- Undertaking contact lens aftercare where appropriate.
You will work collaboratively with optometrists and the wider practice team to ensure a seamless patient journey from examination to dispensing. Professionalism and attention to detail are paramount in this role.
