About this role
John Fell Ltd in the scenic Derbyshire Dales is seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant. This role is central to the patient experience and the efficient operation of our practice.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Providing support with frame selection and performing basic spectacle adjustments and repairs.
- Processing orders accurately and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the practice environment.
As the initial point of contact, you will ensure every patient receives a high standard of care and contribute significantly to the smooth running of our Derbyshire practice.
