About this role
J:D Opticians in Newark and Sherwood is seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice. You will be responsible for interpreting ophthalmic prescriptions accurately and translating them into optimal eyewear solutions.
Your role involves guiding patients through frame and lens selection, considering their visual needs and lifestyle. This includes taking precise measurements and ensuring spectacle fittings and adjustments are precise. You will also manage complex dispensing cases and provide essential contact lens aftercare.
Working collaboratively with optometrists and the wider practice team, you contribute to a seamless patient journey from examination to dispensing. This role is integral to delivering comprehensive eye care at our Newark and Sherwood location.
