Qualified Dispensing Optician
Jason Rickaby Opticians, Lincoln, seeks a skilled Qualified Dispensing Optician (QDO). This role is central to delivering comprehensive patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately interpreting ophthalmic prescriptions.
- Advising patients on suitable frames and lens options, considering their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Taking precise patient measurements to ensure optimal spectacle fit.
- Expertly fitting and adjusting spectacles, ensuring comfort and accuracy.
- Managing complex dispensing challenges, requiring a high level of technical expertise.
- Providing contact lens aftercare where appropriate.
