Requirements
To join J Haynes Opticians as an Optometrist at our Charnwood practice, you will require current GOC registration. A BSc (Hons) or MOptom in Optometry, along with successful completion of a pre-registration programme, are essential qualifications.
We expect a strong command of core optometric skills, including comprehensive sight testing, contact lens fitting, fundus examination, and the ability to interpret OCT scans. Excellent patient communication, meticulous attention to detail, and effective multidisciplinary teamwork are vital for providing exceptional care.
