About this role
Inter Eyecare in Northampton's Grosvenor Centre seeks a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their established team. You will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care, translating ophthalmic prescriptions into expertly crafted eyewear.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting complex prescriptions with precision.
- Providing expert advice on frame and lens suitability, considering both optical needs and aesthetic preferences.
- Taking accurate patient measurements for optimal spectacle fitting.
- Fitting, adjusting, and dispensing spectacles, ensuring comfort and visual acuity.
- Managing challenging dispensing cases with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Performing contact lens fitting and aftercare where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with optometrists and the wider practice staff, you will ensure a seamless patient journey from initial consultation through to final dispense and ongoing support.
