About this role
Inter Eyecare, located in Northampton's Grosvenor Centre, seeks a dedicated Optical Assistant to join their practice. This role is central to patient experience and practice efficiency.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Providing support with frame selection and performing basic frame adjustments and repairs.
- Processing customer orders and ensuring the practice floor is well-maintained.
As the initial point of contact, you will ensure a positive patient journey and contribute significantly to the smooth operation of the practice.
