About this role
Horncastle Opticians, located at 6A High St, East Lindsey, LN9 5BL, is seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant. This role is fundamental to the patient journey, serving as the initial point of contact and ensuring a seamless experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and managing appointment schedules efficiently.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual field analysis.
- Providing support with frame selection and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Performing basic frame adjustments and repairs to maintain optimal patient comfort.
- Processing optical orders accurately and managing practice stock.
- Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the practice floor.
As a key member of the team, you will play a central role in the smooth operation of Horncastle Opticians.
