Horncastle Eye Care (Horncastle) is seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice in East Lindsey. This role is central to delivering exceptional patient care.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Accurately interpreting optical prescriptions.
- Guiding patients through frame and lens choices, considering their lifestyle and visual needs.
- Taking precise measurements for optimal spectacle fit.
- Fitting, adjusting, and troubleshooting spectacles.
- Managing complex dispensing cases, including low vision aids.
- Providing contact lens fitting and aftercare services where required.
You will work collaboratively with optometrists and the wider practice team, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive patient journey from examination to collection and beyond. This position offers the opportunity to apply your dispensing expertise within a supportive practice environment.
