As the initial point of contact for patients at our Charnwood practice, the Optical Assistant is integral to the efficient operation of Henry Smith & Hamylton Opticians. You will be responsible for a range of essential duties, ensuring a positive patient experience from arrival to departure.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Warmly greeting patients and managing the appointment diary.
- Conducting pre-screening tests such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Providing support with frame selection and performing basic frame adjustments and repairs.
- Processing orders and maintaining a tidy and organised practice environment.
