Requirements
To join Green Opticians as an Optometrist, GOC registration is essential. You must hold a recognised BSc or MOptom in Optometry and have successfully completed a pre-registration year.
We expect a strong command of core clinical skills, including comprehensive sight testing, contact lens fitting, dilated fundus examination, and OCT interpretation. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and engage in multidisciplinary teamwork are also vital.
Additional qualifications such as independent prescribing, glaucoma accreditation, or completion of WOPEC modules would be highly advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to advanced clinical practice. This role is based at our Derbyshire Dales practice.
