About this role
G J Drew & Partners in East Lindsey seeks a dedicated Optical Assistant to join their practice. You will be the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from arrival to departure.
Your daily duties will encompass a range of essential tasks to support the clinical team and maintain practice operations. This includes:
- Greeting and assisting patients with their needs.
- Managing appointment schedules and administrative duties.
- Conducting pre-screening tests such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Providing support during frame selection and offering basic adjustments and repairs.
- Processing patient orders accurately.
- Maintaining the practice environment to a high standard.
This role is central to the smooth running of the practice, requiring excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to patient care.
