About this role
Eyestyle Opticians in Arnold, Gedling, is seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant. This role is central to the patient experience and the efficient operation of the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and managing their visit from arrival.
- Efficiently scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Conducting pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual field assessments.
- Providing expert assistance with frame selection, guiding patients towards suitable choices.
- Performing basic frame adjustments and minor repairs.
- Processing patient orders accurately.
- Ensuring the practice environment is maintained to a high standard.
As the first point of contact, you are instrumental in creating a positive impression and ensuring a seamless patient journey. This position offers a key role in supporting the clinical and administrative functions of our Nottinghamshire practice.
