Optical Assistant
Derbyshire Eyecare (DI Blow) in Belper is seeking an Optical Assistant to join their practice at 4 Wirksworth Rd, Amber Valley. This role is integral to the patient journey, serving as the initial point of contact and ensuring a seamless experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Warmly greeting patients upon arrival and managing appointment schedules efficiently.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Providing support with frame selection, offering guidance and expertise to patients.
- Performing basic spectacle adjustments and repairs to maintain patient satisfaction.
- Processing orders accurately and maintaining the overall presentation and tidiness of the practice floor.
This position is central to the smooth operation of the Amber Valley practice, contributing significantly to patient care and operational efficiency.
