About this role
As an Optical Assistant at David Burghardt Visioncare HG in West Lindsey, you will be the initial point of contact for all patients. Your role is crucial for the efficient operation of the practice.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual field assessments.
- Supporting patients in frame selection and providing basic adjustments and repairs.
- Processing orders and ensuring the presentation of the practice floor is immaculate.
You will play a central role in ensuring every patient receives a high standard of care from their arrival through to their departure. This position offers a comprehensive introduction to the clinical and administrative aspects of optical practice.
