About this role
Clearchoice Opticians in North Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant to join their team. You will be the initial point of contact for patients, offering a welcoming experience from arrival.
Your daily duties will include:
- Patient reception and appointment management.
- Conducting pre-screening tests such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual field assessments.
- Providing support with frame selection and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Performing basic frame adjustments and minor repairs.
- Processing patient orders and managing administrative tasks.
This role is central to the efficient operation of the practice. You will contribute significantly to a positive patient journey and support the optometrists in delivering high-quality eye care. Maintaining a well-organised and presentable practice environment is also a key responsibility.
