About this role
Chapman & Partners Opticians in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from arrival to departure.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Conducting essential pre-screening tests, such as autorefraction, tonometry, and visual fields.
- Assisting patients with frame selection, offering guidance and support.
- Performing basic frame adjustments and repairs.
- Processing spectacle and contact lens orders accurately.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the practice floor.
This role is central to the smooth operation of the practice. You will work closely with optometrists and dispensing opticians, contributing significantly to patient care and service delivery at our Leicestershire location.
