About this role
At Asda Opticians (Spondon), you will interpret optical prescriptions with precision. This involves translating clinical findings into tangible eyewear solutions for patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising patients on appropriate frame styles and lens options to meet their individual needs.
- Taking accurate measurements such as pupillary distance and segment heights.
- Fitting and adjusting spectacles, ensuring optimal comfort and visual acuity.
- Managing dispensing queries and more complex dispensing cases.
- Providing contact lens aftercare and fitting guidance where relevant.
You will collaborate closely with the optometrist and the practice team. This ensures a seamless patient journey from eye examination through to the final dispensing of eyewear. Your expertise is integral to delivering a comprehensive patient care experience at our Spondon practice.
