Adams Optician in Derby is seeking a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their established practice at 16B Sinfin District Centre, DE24 3DS. This role is central to delivering exceptional patient care following sight tests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting optical prescriptions accurately.
- Guiding patients through frame and lens choices based on their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Taking precise measurements for optimal spectacle fitting.
- Fitting and adjusting spectacles for comfort and performance.
- Managing complex dispensing cases, including multifocals and specialist lenses.

Requirements
To excel as a Qualified Dispensing Optician at Adams Optician in Derby, GOC registration as a dispensing optician is essential, holding an FBDO qualification.
You will demonstrate technical proficiency in:

- Possessing comprehensive lens knowledge, covering single vision, varifocal, and occupational designs.
